PHASE 10 / SOLDERING / 10K

PHASE 10:

This weekend we decided to switch it up a bit and play a game of Phase 10. Now, we didn't just simply play the game of phase 10... oh no, we played it in the bed of the truck. It was very fun. Derek is a great sport. At one point I was on Phase 5 and he was on Phase 4, well he thought he was still on Phase 3. Well, I had yet to lay down yet and oh my goodness you should have seen his excitement when he laid down "Phase 3" when he was actually on "Phase 4". I could not stop laughing. Anyway here are some pictures of the fun times.

Derek and his amazing "Shuffling" skills:

SOLDERING:
Derek gave soldering 1010 the other night and I just had to take a picture of us and your AMAZING glasses. Oh, and if any you of you need some soldering tips just come ask me, I am a professional now.

10K:
I try and sign of for races to keep me motivated in between to keep running. Well, I did my first race here in Ft. Rucker on Saturday. It kicked my butt, but that being said it was well worth it. We really just ran about 3 miles one way and came back the same way. But, all in all it was great I am just glad its over with for now.

good job for doing a race. I need to be more motivated and sign up for a race. Since my 1/2 marathon, I haven't ran once! By the way, you look gorgeous.

Good job Penny! You amaze me....not only with running the race but doing such fun, creative things. Who would think of playing phase 10 in the back of a truck? You should write a book. :)

You guys are such a fun, cute couple!! Congrats on the 10k!! Are you going to be here on Dec 27th?? That is when I was wanting to run my first 5k . . . if not there is also a race on Dec 13th (My 25th Birthday) or Dec 6th. I was just wanting it further away so I had more time to train. Just let me know. :)

were you playing on the bed of the truck hoping for lack of fire ants?

Looks like fun, but painful for your behind, especially for phase 10!

Congrats on the race too!

I'm glad you married someone with a bike! Way to make me proud. So the other day Luke got on here on his own accord and saw all your pictures and pretty much wanted to pack up and move. He chickened out on leaving a comment, but know that he is envious of you in Alabama!!

You'll have to forgive Derek if he's a little slow at card games. He had me as a big sister and I cheated HORRIBLY on every game I ever taught him. He may still not even know how to play checkers right! ;-)
