BLESSINGS FROM UP ABOVE...

I have been search for a job somewhere/anywhere for the last 5 months. I went to 4 different Temp/employment agencies, the army employment services, and sent endless resumes out on jobs posted through other websites. I really thought it was going to be a never ending adventure. Well, about 3.5 weeks ago I was given a "part-time" and temporary job for 6 weeks (and I must add thankful for even a temporary job at this point). I have just a few weeks to go before that is over with and feeling nervous about what I was going to do after that. I must say the LORD must love me! I have been stressed this week and feeling down about not being able to contribute much to our finances. So that being said, I have been praying and hoping that something would work out one way or another........

And it did! I went to a friends house yesterday afternoon after work to invite her family for dinner on Sunday. An hour after just chatting it up, she started telling me about this Dentist that is practically begging her to work for him. She told him, the hours will not work for her since she has her girls to take care of. So, I look at her and said, "CAN I HAVE HIS NUMBER?" And of course she gave it to me.

Well, I walked into the Dental office toady at 12:30 hoping that the Dentist would be around. He sure was, and happened to be the one to open the door (the office was closed for lunch). I told him about my friend that had come by and that I had Dental Assisting experience and handed him my resume and letter of recommendation from the previous Dentist I worked for in California... expecting for him to say, "Okay, I will look at this and give you a call". But, instead he looked at me and said, okay, when can you start? I think at this point my jaw was on the ground because this has not been a quick or easy adventure and that was the last words I was expecting for him to say.

So, sorry about the long POST. But, I have a job and will be happily working 4 - 10's Monday-Thursday and every once in a while a Saturday. I will be starting after this temp job is over but, I am going to go into the Dental office tomorrow to observe and fill out paper work.

HOORAY! Thank goodness our Prayers can be answered. :)

I love hearing stories about things working out, because don't they always after our patience is almost gone? I'm so happy for you and that this adventure has come to a happy end.
