Thankful
Today I am thankful to know, after many changes, that our little family will finally be able to start settling down in Boise. Back in September we were gearing up for a deployment in Iraq for Derek. Much to our surpise the deployment was canceled. We began our search for a job that would better suit our family. Within a month or so Derek had a job offer in Boise with Motive Power. With much thought and prayer we knew this was a good change for our family and we began to prepare for our move. I moved out of our home and quit my job with the storage Unit in Spanish Fork. And Derek headed to Boise to start his new job, and began the paper work to transfer guard units. Not even two weeks into the new job, we find out that Derek's guard unit is now deploying in January and all transfers in process were to be canceled. So once again, we were not sure where life was going to take us within the next few months. We were so please to find out after a month of waiting on their decision that Utah Guard was going to allow Derek to continue his transfer to the Idaho Guard. What a blessing! We are so thrilled to begin this new chapter in our lives and hope that within the next week we will find the house of which will be our home for the next years to come. I am so grateful to have a hard working and loving husband!
