BOY OR GIRL??? TODAY IS THE DAY!

Life continues to be busy but, fun as usual. This past few weeks we have had Allison and Sarin (Derek's Sisters) in town and have spent time in Orlando, FL, the beautiful beaches in Florida, Atlanta, GA and of course here in the Deep South of Alabama(Pictures will be posted in the VERY near future).

Derek has started his first business, doing Lawn Mowing Services. For those who do not know him very well, having a business of his own, is a dream come true. Now, this is just a small and simple business but, its been fun for him to have the opportunity to try it out. And rewarding for him to say he has now started something. He is currently on hold for the last and big course to learn to fly the Apachee Helpicopter. They keep him "busy" during the week by sitting at a desk doing a half of a mans job with one other person, working 5 days a week and 8 hour days. HE LOVES IT! ;) We really have no idea when this will begin, but we are hearing any time between September-December (lets be honest you never know with the Army). And this course is about 8 months or so. After that we will be returning home to Utah.

We have been called as Ward Missionaries and that has brought new and exciting expectations in our lives. And in addition to that, Derek is also the Gospel Essentials Teacher. Life for him is busy as we know it. :)

As for me... I continue to work for Southern Forestry Consultants as the Administrative Assistant making the BIG bucks! I will be starting some online classes here in the fall (with Utah Valley University) to continue my education and get one step closer to holding that beloved Business Degree in my hands. Sometime in between August-November we plan on me just getting prepared to be mother and doing school by dropping the job. My body continues going through some changes and I continue being amazed that I really do have a baby growing inside me. :) I am feeling great and looking forward to being able to wear those cute maternity clothes, although I feel like I am not anywhere close to that are nearly 4 and 1/2 months. SO CRAZY...almost 1/2 way through.

But, exciting of all.... Today we have our Doctors appointment to find out if we are having a BOY or a GIRL. We can not wait! What is your vote?

Sounds like life is going very well and busy for you. I think you are going to have a healthy baby. Girls are so fun so are boys. So what ever it is you'll love it. Yay Penny is going to be a Mommy =)

My friend taught me, so I don't really have a pattern. I will see if she has a pattern online somewhere though and let you know. I am so excited to use it. They are so handy!

I didn't read this post until I already knew you were having a boy but my vote still would have been boy. Do you guys have a name picked yet?
