On April 14th, Derek officially was pinned as a Apache Helicopter Pilot. We were able to attend a wonderful ceremony in his honor. Derek spent the last two years studying like crazy and learning to fly the helicopter of his dreams. Derek has really accomplished so much in the last few years, and here is a list of some of those wonderful things:
Graduated College
Bought his first home
Married and Happily :)
Became a Father
And Graduated the Army Flight School
I am so proud of him and look forward to see where his next few years of dreams take us. We are lucky and blessed to have such a wonderful man a part of our lives.

Congrats Derek!!! I guess this means you are coming home now. Can't wait to see you!!! We will have to plan a barbecue!!
