We got the opportunity to go to the Grand Canyon. This was a first for both Lincoln and I. Derek's sister Sarin has been in town, so we thought this would be the best time to go. So, Friday evening Derek, Allison, Sarin, Lincoln and I packed up and and went camping for two days near the Grand Canyon. We had a wonderful time and wish that the pictures did some justice for the Beauty of the park. But, alas they don't. Not only was it Lincolns first time at a National Park but, it was his first camping trip as well. Lincoln enjoyed most everything... so long as we were not driving in the car. We are looking forward to the day that he can sit in an upright car seat because he has never been a fan of his current car seat. I think he mostly enjoyed the hiking and constant attention (since there were 4 of us to entertain him rather than just the regular two).

I loved the first pic of Lincoln's head peering over the rock. I have several of Derek doing that. Although not quite so young!
