Lincoln - 7 Months Old

We have really enjoyed this last month with Lincoln. He is really beginning to play with us much more. And his laughter brightens up our home. He found his hands many months ago but, more than ever he is really into pulling and grabbing things with those little hands at this point. He loves food and about anything that you will give him... here are some of the things that he seems to enjoy.

Sweet Potatoes
Rice Cereal
Bananas
Graham Crackers
Watermellon

... and the list goes on. For the most part he will eat ANYTHING you give him. If it is the first time he is trying something out he will gag at first but, after the second bit he seems to accept it ALL!

Lincoln enjoys standing up by the furniture and holding himself up, being in his jump-a-roo, eating, laughing, putting everything in his mouth, grabbing your nose, scratching things with his finger nails (he loves feeling and touching everything), being in the water, being read to, playing peek-a-boo, being startled and talking to anyone who will listen. Lincoln makes all kinds of noises and each noise different depending on his mood.

He does not like to cuddle, be in his car seat for a long period of time, eating carrots, having his face washed or nose cleaned out. But, over all this little boy is a fun and easy going guy. We are lucky to have such a content and easy to love little guy. He continues to sleep 11-12 hours a night and has been taking 2-3 good naps a day.

Last we checked Lincoln weighed 18.7 pounds and continues to fall in the 90th percentile. He seems to tower over all his peers and we wonder if he will just slow down on growing or always be the big boy of his friends. He is currently wearing 12-month clothes.

Last but not least Lincoln got his first hair cut because Mom thought since his hair was past his ears it was about time. :)
